Tartakower vs. Schenkein

My Best Games Of Chess was originally published by Tartakower in two volumes which I owned many years ago, but disappeared (probably during move into a new house) a long time ago. They were among my favorite game collections. Today the books are available in a single volume. Tartakower was a great player and \ writer. He played the hypermodern openings, he played gambits, he played orthodox opening…you name it and he played it and his games were rich positional masterpieces, tactical masterpieces and endgame masterpieces. He had something for everyone. The following game is typical of the kind of games Tartakower played. If you want an exercise in analyzing tactics, this game is the mother lode.
